LOCALISATION
The Genoese house of Doria was reigning in the North of Sardinia in medieval times.
On the map, it is easy to see how this noble family has influenced life and territory. From Monteleone Rocca Doria, on the west coast near Alghero, to the heart of Gallura with Casteldoria, the toponymy quotes the name of the Genoese patricians many times. This is a sign of how the population has remained bound to the benevolence of the ancient lords through the ages, outliving the Aragonese domination first and then the Savoyard one.
Near Santa Maria Coghinas there is still one of the Dorias unnumbered constructions: an ancient medieval guard duty tower, that dominates all the Coghinas valley and the coast from Castesardo, offering breathtaking views.




LE PROJET
The project Santa Barbara is the newborn in the Casa Investimento family.
Santa Barbara plans the contruction of a residence near Santa Maria Coghinas, in the North of Sardinia. The will is to create something exclusive, a method already consolidated in the previous projects.
The place where the residence will be constructed is not far from the thermal spa of Casteldoria and next to the other Casa Investimento project Terme di Casteldoria and it will take up an entire hill.
The houses orientated to the North will enjoy a wounderful view on the sea.
The residence will be constituted by different types of three-storied houses with basement.

The construction of the project Santa Barbara began in September 2008 and it will be completed in 18 months, by March 2010.
