THE PROJECT
Le Hameau de Tsanfleuron comprises a limited number of stunning wood and stone Alpine chalets with spacious interiors and terraces offering unrestricted panoramic views over LesDents Du Midi. The sunny, south-facing chalets are ideally located in tranquil and green area; just a few minutes walk from the town centre, shops, restaurants and ski lifts.
Ranging from 2-4 bedrooms and up to 265sqm in size, the chalets at Le Hameau de Tsanfleuron presents a fantastic opportunity to invest in this resurgent resort and enjoy the year round benefits the area has to offer just over an hour from Geneva airport. Leysin is very easily accessible, and also offers five international schools.
The chalets at Le Hameau de Tsanfleuron are planned as Luxury Alpine residences and offer outstanding comfort and quality. Build on a slope, all chalets are south-facing and enjoy some of the best views in Switzerland, far-stretching to the Alpes Vaudoise and Portes Du Solei including the Dents Du Midi and the Diablerets region.
Nestled between the atmospheric old village centre and the surrounding forest, the chalets are conveniently located for tranquility yet just a stroll away from all amenities, shops and lively restaurants, a regular bus stopping at the very doorstep takes skiers to the ski lift in a couple of minutes, or all the way around the town.
There are three types of chalets, A, B and C, which range from 2 to 4 bedrooms. They are built using noble natural materials, with beautiful old wood exteriors, and natural stone slabs on the roof, providing weather beating protection, ease of maintenance and aesthetic charm. These authentic mountain chalets are enduring design classic, and every feature in them has been carefully though through, from the old-wood shutters and balcony rails, to the entire exterior blackened wrought-iron fittings. The balconies are generously sized and are also built with old wood rails. To adapt well to the natural layout of the terrain, some of the chalets are built on split levels, giving them yet more character.
The chalets interiors are just as wonderful. Solid oak parquets are used for all bedrooms, which can be brushed, varnished, aged or vaxed according to the owner’s preferences, and tiles or stone slabs will be laid in the kitchen, lounge and bathroom floors. All chalets come with beautifully made built-in fir furniture and fireplace or wood burning stove to be enjoyed during the winter days. The budgets allocated for the kitchens, bathrooms and flooring are very generous and the various choices for each will be arranged directly by the purchaser with the developer.
In addition, each chalet has a playroom for children to enjoy themselves, and it’s own cellar in the lower ground floor, which can be used for sports gear as well as for personal items should the owners wish to rent their chalet out. There is also a carnotzet per chalet, which is officially a dining room for fondue and raclette in a typical Voudoise chalet. But the buyer can enjoy this room in any other way. Furthermore, there are technical and laundry rooms and 1 or 2 car parking spaces or garages as appropriate, for each chalet.
Le Hameau de Tsanfleuron is an ideal year round base for lovers or snow, sunshine and mountain sports and offers all that you could possibly need for a most enjoyable investment home in the Swiss Alps.
